The Paro CSI market is a unique store in Paro District which offers a range of handpicked collections of local products that showcase the uniqueness of our Cottage & Small Industry enterprises.

To further enhance reach, open wider domestic market access and create opportunities for our local businesses, the market is built inside a traditional Bhutanese house that represents the nostalgic architectural heritage of Paro District. The structure was built in 1980. It is not only a beautiful traditional style house, but also captures the essence of time that is still alive here.

For the opening of the store, we teamed up with our local designers to renovate it so that you can enjoy the original structure and atmosphere. The furniture, fixtures and artwork in the store are the works of Bhutan’s proud creators. When you visit the store, you should be able to experience the creativity that CSI Market has nurtured now and in the past, and the spirit of craftsmanship that lives at the root of it
